Even in these dark times, we can still enjoy life’s little—and big—absurdities and unexpected delights.
Johanna and I talk about some serious topics here—the Summit in Beijing, Trump accusing David Sanger of The New York Times of “treason;” Elon Musk’s grotesque racism—we managed to have a good time. There’s something about what my mom’s generation might’ve called “a gabfest” with your favorite person that can dispel a lot of the clouds overhead.
