Not condoning what the soldier did on the betting at all ... BUT, if they figured out that he did it, why is he the only one being arrested? Why haven't they figured out who else has been involved in using all the insider information??? There should be MANY MORE arrests!

I’m also a retired minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and a retired second career theological librarian. I didn’t like George W. at all but you have spoken so appealingly of him that I think I will go watch his interview with Jenna. You see. It doesn’t take much for us to appreciate what the other has to say as long as both parties are people of good will interested in the common good.
So we also have a problem with young kids on scooters. I live in a condo community in Charlotte NC and they are constantly riding around without helmets and it’s not allowed per community governing docs. Same in neighboring communities where the kids are riding around at top speed on the streets, through shopping centers, across major intersections without helmets. They should be outlawed in certain areas and regulated where allowed before someone gets badly hurt or dies in an accident.
They are increasingly becoming a major issue in our neighborhood, and I think by summer it’ll be even worse. I’m very worried it’s only a matter of time before there’s an accident - and with so few kids in helmets, that’s a recipe for disaster.

A young man on an e-bike was hit by a car (in Oklahoma) a few weeks ago. He will likely be a quadriplegic now.
