They don’t know each other but have both blogged on the fuel crisis that is happening in their countries. I believe both only have a 30 day emergency supply and that’s running out. Will the US help their allies? Does trump even think of them as allies anymore?
This is one among many things that genuinely scares me. Trump has burned a LOT of bridges and squandered an immeasurable amount of good will among what used to be our European and Pacific Basin partners. Because of him, they have at least begun to think that the US is no longer trustworthy. Worse, lesser developed countries are approaching China for support.
They say it takes years to establish a friendship and seconds to lose one. There you go.
